DHAKA, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- A tourism fair kicked off in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka to celebrate World Tourism Day in a lively atmosphere.

The United Nations has designated Sept. 27 as the annual World Tourism Day with the objective to promote awareness on the role of tourism within the international community and to demonstrate how it affects social, cultural, political and economic values worldwide.
