DHAKA, March 15 (Xinhua) -- A massive fire tore through one of the largest slums on Monday night in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, destroying at least 100 shanties.

Located in Dhaka's Tejgaon industrial area, the slum Kunipara is home to numerous low-income residents, including garment workers, rickshaw pullers, construction workers, etc. The fire brigade douzed the blaze in around two hours, and no report of any casualty has been recorded.
