Brawn Formula One team bought by Mercedes

Mercedes has bought a controlling stake in Formula One world champions Brawn G.
The German car giant has taken a 75 percent stake in the Ross Brawn team, which will be rebranded Mercedes GP.
Ross Brawn took over the outfit after former owners Honda quit the sport at the end of 2008.
It is believed the new owners will be promoting the elevation of German driver Nico Rosberg as their number one driver with his countryman Nick Heidfeld his likely partner. Email this story to a friend
